We've been promoting Canadian talent on the Internet since 2003

Orchard Studio was built in 1980 and for twenty years ran as a state of the art analogue recording studio, working with a wide range of artists from Stompin' Tom Connors to Jane Siberry to Moist.

The 'Digital Revolution' hit in 2000 and Orchard Studio embraced this new technology and changed with the times. Newer Digital Consoles and Computers replaced the older Analog Consoles and Tape Machines and are still being used in Orchard Studio every day.

In 2003 Orchard Studio expanded into the world of video and started Live Streaming (or Webcasting) artists/bands to the Internet.

Orchard Studios 2004 "Webcast Weekend Online Music Festival" was the first of it's kind - an around the clock 'Live Stream' from the studio, for 3 days, bringing independent Canadian talent to the World.

OrchardTV was born and in 2008 & 2009 'Live Streamed' 30 shows to the internet from Brampton's Rose Theatre with many amazing Canadian artists including Sass Jordan, Lighthouse, Hollerado and Rick Emmett to name a few. The average nightly viewership was in the thousands and positive reviews came in from all around the world.

OrchardTV then brought their skills to New York City to webcast the legendary Allman Brothers Band, for two consecutive years, for their infamous month long residencies at Manhattans Beacon Theatre, then again to Florida with such classic rock legends as Stephen Stills, the Wailers, Johnny Winter, and Members of the Grateful Dead.

Some of our more recent clients include Microsoft Canada (MSN.CA) (Florence & the Machine, Dragonette, Metric, Serena Ryder), The Gibson Showroom, Metalworks Recording Studio for Magna Carta Records, E-One Entertainment, Bell TIFF Lightbox, and the University of Guelph/Humber.

Things have recently come full circle, back to where it all began, inside the humble studio located in the beautiful Apple farming community of Huttonville Ontario Canada.

The 2014 pilot episode of OrchardTV in HD features two artists who recently recorded their albums at Orchard Studio. Brad Fillatre and the Folkstones.

With your continued interest, we hope to keep 'Live Streaming' great Canadian talent to a worldwide audience.
